Just because I asked for the bill doesn’t mean I am done with the table! I hate it when I go out to eat at a bar that serves food and has open seating. Nothing worse than people assuming I am done with the table when I ask for the bill. I want to enjoy the rest of the game on the TV and then I’ll leave at my pleasure. After a while of not standing up to leave, I’ll get that “are you done with that table “look from people. Guess what, since you gave me that look, I am going to go ahead and order something else.

Totally agree! What’s even worse in those open places is when people stand over you while you’re trying to eat, damn that gets on my nerves too!
Or how about the accidental bumping or elbow in your back.
